Omah Lay Finally Speaks Out After Release From Ugandan Prison

R&B singer, Omah Lay has finally spoken out after being released from Ugandan prison and returning to the country earlier today.
The ‘Godly’ crooner was arrested alongside Tems and Muyiwa Awoniyi after they performed at a show they were invited to in Uganda, they were then taken to prisons.
Their release was however secured a day ago and hours after settling down, Omah Lay decided to thank fans and family who looked out for him during the difficult time while also clarifying some things.
Read his tweet below;
The past few days have been some of the toughest of my life that I wouldn’t wish them on anyone. Out in a new country with some beautiful people, the next thing I’m being treated like a common thief 🤦🏾♂️

Also I wanna clarify that putting you in harms way was never my intentions! Before we came out to Uganda, the show promoters confirmed and proved to us they’d secured all the clearances which of course included Covid 19 compliance….
