Burna Boy and Wizkid emerged winners at the 2020 Music of Black Origin (Mobo) awards which held on Wednesday 9th December, 2020 virtually on YouTube.
The award organisers announced Wizkid as the winner of the βBest African Actβ category while Burna Boy clinched the “Best International Act”. The category had a competitive lineup of stars like Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, etc.

In time past, Wizkid has won the MOBO award as both βBest African Actβ and βBest International Actβ.

Maya Jama and Chunkz did the honours of hosting the virtual ceremony with guest presenters including Leomie Anderson, Jourdan Dunn and Neelam Gill. Performances came from Headie One, Tiwa Savage, Ms Banks, H.E.R. and Kojey Radical.
